Company RelocationOur customer, a federal association, wound up its field office in Bonn and merged it with an existing field office in Berlin. Approx. 230 employees were affected by this merger.
It was the goal of this project to guarantee a smooth relocation completed on schedule and at the same time optimise processes.
Our relocation manager was responsible for planning and co-ordinating the performance of the relocation.
The planning services provided by ourselves included the entire logistics of the relocation, from inventory taking of the furnishings and fittings and the stock of files, the preparation of plans for the schedule and the order of events up to the co-ordination of interfaces.
In order to guarantee a smooth course of the relocation we established two regional headquarters for the relocation that looked after the employees of the association over the entire project.
For the association we took over the entire performance of the relocation including the control and acceptance of all the services connected with the relocation.
These services also included the building and renovation measures that were planned, realised and accepted by us under our own responsibility.
The co-ordination and the instalment of the information and communication technology were also included by us into the relocation logistics.

Within the framework of this relocation we took over the planning of the furnishings on the basis of user-orientated specifications and in compliance with the valid legal regulations and provisions. For a better selection of the furnishings we obtained offers of different manufacturers, compared the advantages and disadvantages of different furnishing systems and attached samples to the offers. In this connection an analysis of the workplaces accompanied
by medical officers was arranged. Having received the order we took over the implementation of the planning of the furnishings as well as the co-ordination and the control of the deliveries.
After the completion of the rebuilding and relocation measures the office rooms were cleaned by us and handed over to the employees.
In addition to the process controlling we took over the entire project documentation.
Our customer benefited from our wide services from different sectors that were carried out smoothly and without any operating downtimes. This way interfaces could be minimised and processes optimised.
Private Removal
For a private customer we realised a removal with comprehensive removal and performance services up to the turn-key set-up of the new apartment.
For this purpose a household in the region of Frankfurt and a household in Spain were completely dissolved and combined in a residence in the region of Hamburg.

Here within the framework of a contact visit the entire goods to be removed were listed and details about the removal and the installation of the furniture, packaging work and the date of the removal were discussed.
According to our customer’s request we packed all the items of furniture including their contents, transported them to the new residence and installed them and the furniture there in accordance with our agreement. Subsequently the contents were put again into the furniture as before so that our customer found everything again in its usual place.
SJG carried out the cleaning and renovating work of the empty domicile near Frankfurt and took on the handing over to the landlord.
Our customer was able to move into his new home without any previous packing or removal stress, without requiring organisation and without any extravagant unpacking and putting things away.
Just unlock the new house and feel at home – this is what we at SJG call a turn-key removal.
Internal Relocations
For more than ten years we have been looking in the sector of the relocation management after an international producer of confectionery.

Most recently the demands on the flexibility of enterprises have strongly increased. Therefore the internal organisation of our customer has to adjust itself constantly to new structures and demands.
This naturally results in extensive rebuilding and relocation measures.
To keep the costs low in spite of everything and keep the company operative at any time, an efficient relocation management is therefore required.
The relocations are planned by us in such a way that the employees in accordance with their tasks and course of work are able to efficiently co-operate and that the available spaces are optimally utilised.
The planning for offices and furnishings is carried out in agreement with the employees and in accordance with the legal regulations.
We also take over all the arising rebuilding and renovation work, cleaning of the premises and the disposal of old furniture and other waste. In this way the customer can obtain all the services from one source without any losses of interfaces.

For the confectionery producer we run a temporary
store for various items of furniture. Upon demand additionally required furniture can be quickly delivered and furnishings presently not needed can
be stored with us.
The employees of our customer leave their old workplace and when they arrive next morning at their new one, they find everything in the usual place. Telephone and EDP are connected and ready for use.
This is possible since SJG also carries out the relocations during the night, at weekends or holiday and therefore does not disturb the operating course of the enterprise.
